Hello there! It's me, Jcqsaue (pronounced Jacques). Here is my little place where I share my ideas, concepts, creations—you name it.
I like to physically create my projects and not stop at the concept, as that is how my mind works: why conceive something if it's physically or practically impossible to make?
As makers or artists, we have access to so much new technology that can inspire us in new ways. I personally find the limitations of some technology challenging and satisfying. However, with so many new advancements every day, we have numerous opportunities to access either new materials or new volume, pushing the frontier of what was possible both for amateurs and professionals.
These technological advancements are even bridging the gap between the skills necessary to craft and the imagination essential for creating. And so, creation is, and will be, more available than ever before. Yes, yes, yes... But these will always be tools, and tools in the hands of fools will never amount to anything. We will always need thinkers who understand what emotions mean and can transfer that to their work. Will a machine ever be able to do that? Maybe. Maybe it will push us to put more effort into our work, not only pushing the frontier this time but moving the concept itself to what is a human creation, literally and figuratively.
At least, that's what I think, and that's what this little place is for. Always trying to improve, to change, to jump in between the misty frontiers of the designer, the artist, the inventor, and the human.
