First try
This project was just an excuse, an opportunity to design a game console that doesn’t look like a toy or, at least, not like crap.
As if by a message from the gamer gods, the Raspberry Pi 5 came out, and I interpreted it as “make it a game console.” Wow, how original, I know.
But this spiritual quest, helped by the fact that the Raspberry Pi 5 was so fresh that there were no official distributions of “gaming OS,” led me to explore the vast ocean of hardware alternatives.
I finally used the Raspberry Pi 5 just as a placeholder for the design, but the real pièce de résistance in the project is the controller slots.
Not all of your projects have to be 100% successful, but if you can grow even 1% from them, whether from the failures you encounter, that should be counted as a win.
I will use this slot design again, in an even better version.
